Samsung unveils the Galaxy S25 Series today as promised. In this article, we will tackle the base and Plus versions.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series is now official in PH
To start, both devices carry improved durability while still carrying a light and slim body. Furthermore, they sport an IP68 dust and water resistance rating to survive some dust and water dips for a period.
The two phones also have nearly identical details with a few changes in the size of the department.

Speaking of which, the Samsung Galaxy S25 sports a 6.2-inch size while the Galaxy S25+ uses a larger 6.7-inch display. Both use Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, LTPO 1-1-120Hz refresh rate, Vision booster, and Adaptive tone color. Both are also protected with Gorilla Armor 2 to survive impacts and scratches.
Inside, they are equipped with the 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.
You can also differentiate them through the battery as the S25 uses 4,000mAh with 25W power brick while the Plus version uses 4,900mAh + 45W charger and USB-C cable. Both also support wireless charging 2.0 and reverse wireless charging.
For cameras, the two phones have identical details too as they have a 50MP main camera with OIS, f/1.8 aperture + 12MP ultra-wide camera + 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
Samsung also boasts improved AI features making upgrades on the Circle to Search by quickly recognizing phone numbers emails, URLs, and context awareness for easier daily interactions.
It also has Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, and the Personal Data Engine, which analyzes your data on the device to bring a tailored experience based on users' preferences and usage patterns.
Connectivity features are 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and dual SIM.
For OS, the phones run Android 15 with One UI 7 skin on top. They also come with 7 years OS upgrades and 7 years security patches.
