Build Quality/Design
At first glance, the phone looks eye-catching because of the bright purple color and butterfly-shaped shadow. It is made of an Aerospace-grade aluminum frame and a one-piece sculpted glass.
Upon holding the phone, you immediately notice how lightweight and premium feeling the phone is. The softened curves with the textured glass and aluminum frame add to the overall upscale experience while reducing fingerprint smudges significantly.
It measures 162.73 x 76.55 x 7.55 mm and weighs 195 grams. It is IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance rated.

In front is the aforementioned 6.83-inch Flexible AMOLED screen, which has a 1,610 x 720 resolution and 16.7 million colors. It is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protected.
Around the panel are slim and symmetrical bezels. The punch hole with the selfie camera is on the upper part of the panel. Above it and inside the top bezel is the super slim earpiece. The same slim earpiece acts as the second speaker too.
On top is the microphone port and an IR blaster while at the bottom are the bottom-firing speaker grills, USB-C port, microphone port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The SIM tray accommodates up to two nano SIM cards or 1 nano SIM and 1 microSD card. There is a red rubber gasket but OPPO says the phone is supposedly IP64 water and dust resistance rated.
We even submerged it into the pools bellow the running fresh water from Siquijor's Cambugahay Falls.

OPPO Reno13 Pro 5G with IVE's Won Young |
If the OPPO Reno13 Pro 5G is priced competitively, then the Reno13 Pro 5G could be an incredible phone for those who want near flagship tier design and performance.
The screen is bright and crisp while having symmetrical slim bezels while the body is made of an aluminum frame and a glass rear panel. This makes it lightweight and premium while reducing fingerprint smudges out of the box.
It comes with the powerful 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8350 octa-core processor, G615-MC6 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It scored more than 1.1 Million in AnTuTu as well.
Inside is a large 5,800mAh battery. Given that the phone is so slim, we will have to confirm if it has a silicon carbon battery found on the OPPO Find X8. It comes with an 80W SUPERVOOC wall charger.
What surprised us is the camera performance from all cameras. We recently visited the island of Siquijor where we took photos and videos. We even submerged the phone in fresh water falls to try its underwater camera mode.
We will also be taking more photos with the phone and running our usual battery of tests.
Stay tuned for the full review soon.
