The brand claimed that the handset achieved a 171% (percent) increase in total sales compared to its predecessor (realme C67), just three days following its local release.
The company did not mention the exact numbers, but if its claims are true, this success could be attributed to its new durability features. It includes the use of the IP69 dust and water resistance rating, making it the most affordable with the highest IP rating on smartphones yet.

To those who missed it, the realme C75 is the company's newest affordable C Series smartphone focusing on durability. As mentioned, it comes with an IP69 dust, debris, and water-resistant rating which allows the phone to survive 2.5-meter deep water for 12 hours and can survive high-pressure and high-temperature water jets.
It also has the SonicWave Water Ejection tech that makes the speaker vibrate at a specific frequency to eject up to 50 percent of excess water as well as the new ArmorShell tempered glass (260 percent drop resistance improvement, 400 percent scratch resistance improvement vs previous generation) to protect its display from breaking and ArmorShell protection can survive a 2-meter drop test, 150x 0.7 meter drop test) making its body 360-degree shockproof.
Moreover, the phone has a TÜV Rheinland Rugged Smartphone Certificate and passed the Military Grade Shock Resistance Test under MIL-STD-810H.
