The FreeClip is one of the most popular earbuds of HUAWEI.
A hot-selling open-ear buds
During the launch of the HUAWEI Mate XT and other devices like the new FreeArc wireless sports buds, the tech giant revealed that they have shipped more than 2 million units of the FreeClip open-ear TWS earbuds across the globe.
This means that it is one of the hottest-selling TWS earbuds in the world.
Our guess? Many purchased the device due to its innovative and stylish design. These numbers also show that there is a big market for open-ear wireless earbuds design as not everyone is comfortable wearing in-ear earbuds.
To recap, the FreeClip boasts a C-bridge design with a minimalist spherical shape for improved ergonomics and comfort as well as IP54 dust and water resistance, and a smudge-free lightweight body weighing just 5.6 grams each.
It uses a 10.8mm dual-magnet high-sensitivity driver.
These are interchangeable with self-adaptive left-right audio channels, meaning you can wear either earbud on either ear.
HUAWEI claims that it also features a secure and comfortable fit for most ears as they designed it based on 10,000+ global human ear data. Moreover, since it is an open-ear design, it allows users to stay aware of the surroundings for safety and more.
For calls, it uses 3 microphones in total. First is the Windproof Mic, Talk Mic, and VPU Mic. Moreover, it has a multi-channel deep neural network (DNN) algorithm to effectively pick out voices from ambient noises.
Each bud can last up to 8 hours on a single charge and up to 36 hours with the charging case.
In the Philippines, HUAWEI recently launched the gorgeous-looking Rose Gold FreeClip for PHP 9,999.
