In India, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Y1 series. Technically, they're the rebranded Redmi Note 5A Standard and Redmi Note 5A High Edition.

The Redmi Y1 is the slightly beefier model packed w/ more RAM, ROM, and better front cameras. In particular, it comes in either 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB ROM. It also has a nicer 16MP front facing shooter for selfies.
On the other hand, the regular Redmi Y1 Lite has a smaller 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM configuration.
