For selfies, ASUS highlighted the BIG 20MP f/2.0 Sony IMX376 sensor paired with 8MP f/2.4 OV8856 120-degree wide-angle lens. It also has softlight LED flash for selfies in lowlight conditions.
ASUS also boasts that it has a "true quad camera system" which allows users to use all four cameras independently unlike others. However, they also don't work together unlike other dual camera setups.
But anyway, this handset is still the most promising and exciting mid-range camera phone of ASUS so far!

The 16MP + 8MP dual cameras behind has the ability to take great daylight shots with good punchy colors in either normal or 120-degree wide-angle mode.
The 120-degree wide-angle mode can really fit a lot in just one frame. Yes, it has barrel visible barrel distortion, but it is far from bad and you can be creative with it.
The 20MP + 8MP selfie cameras are quite capable too. It has accurate colors and usable even in lowlight. It even has a nice type of sofllight LED flash if the lighting condition is really bad.
Both cameras are not perfect yet though, there are times where you'll get a bit underexposed shots using the secondary shooter of the dual cameras behind and soft selfies using the primary 20MP camera in front.
But overall, the ZenFone 5Q is a very promising camera phone for the expected price so far.
