Few days ago, we reported that ASUS is set to lauch the Max Pro M1. Today, the Taiwanese company sticked to their timeline to unleash the said device.

Based on its specs, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 is a very promising device. It could be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro killer as well.
It features a metal clad body with big enough 5.99-inch FHD+ 2.5D 18:9 screen. Inside, it has the same capable processor found on the regular ZenFone 5. It boasts a 14 nm based Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and Adreno 509 gaming capable GPU.
It is paired with up to 6GB RAM, up to 64GB expandable storage up to 2 TB, and massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
ASUS also loaded this phone with a dual camera setup behind. But, it'll come in two versions. The 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM versions of this handset will only get the 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup while the 6GB RAM variant will come with the bigget 16MP + 5MP setup. Both has PDAF and LED flash.
For selfies, it'll go with either 8MP or 16MP.
It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back, face unlock tech, 5-magnet speaker, NXP Smart Amp, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), 4G LTE w/ VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and dual nano SIM slots.
The other special trait of this handset is it'll come with pure Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It won't have the usual bloatwares found on most ASUS phones.
It measures at 159 x 76 x 8.46 mm and weighs at 180 g.
The phone will be available in deepsea black and gray colors starting May 3 in India. The 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant is priced at Rs. 10,999.
On the other hand, the 4GB RAM and 64GB model and 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM version will be available for Rs. 12,999 and RS. 14,999 respectively.
There's no word if it'll be available in other parts of the world including the Philippines yet.
