It is packaged with premium matte textured paper boxes. Inside are the quick start guide, regulatory information, the speaker and the USB to micro-USB cable. The speaker has a slot for a carabiner but it doesn't come with a carabiner.

The body, except for the top, is wrapped in rigid silicone and is stripe texture for added grip and water repulsion. There is no impact certification but it is rated for IPX5 which is splash resistant only. This means it cannot be submerged in water for extended periods.
The wires are thin but they feel sturdy and resistance to tensions that could break the wire from the main body.
Hidden under a rubber tab is a micro USB 2.0 port for charging, Aux in jack and microSD card slot. It takes under 2 hours to fully charge the W6T.
At the back is a bicycle screw mount. At first we thought it was for tripods but it didn't fit.
In our experience, after a full charge the W6T lasts for an accumulated 5 to 6 hours. The usage is when the earphones is connected to our phone the whole 8 hour working day and during the commute. It would run for three consecutive days before we had to charge it again.

The main advantage of this product is that it is small and easy to attach to your bag with a carabiner. The disadvantage is that though it is splash resistant, it isn't dust resistant which could be a problem when going to the beach where the winds often blow sand into everything.
We used this for a couple of sound trippin and found that it gets really loud even in open environments. It does tend to distort at maximum volume. We recommend to play at 80% volume for best audio quality.
When set at 80%, the sound has decent decent mids but the clarity and range is affected by the overpowering bass. This isn't a problem for people who love bass though.

So if you are looking for a speaker with louder volume and with 3.5 mm jack then go for the F&D W6T.
