The first DC Superheroes Cafe in the Philippines will be launched this June 23, 2018!
This is the only DC licensed cafe in the country which will be operated by Almerak Corp., in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment.
A wide spectrum of DC films, TV Series, animated movies and DC comic books inspired the café's ambiance. You will see life-sized Justice League statues, and the servers will be decked out in DC Super Hero-inspired outfits.
The interiors will take inspiration from landmarks in the DC Universe, such as the Oracle’s Watchtower in Gotham City and the infamous Bat Cave. A wide collection of DC comics, graphic novels, will be available to ensure customers are kept entertained.
The café will also have good food. They will have DC-inspired menu is conceptualized and created by Chef Mikel Zaguirre of Locavore Kitchen x Drinks and Chef Kalel Demetrio of Liquido Maestro.
Chef Mikel Zaguirre is one of Manila’s acclaimed chefs who curated the menu of well known restaurants like POKE POKE, Taqueria101, Pep and Ronnie’s Pizza Hub, and FYRE Rooftop Lounge. Chef Zaguirre engages his creativity and culinary prowess providing a modern twist to DC Super Heroes themed dishes for the cafe.
Meanwhile, Chef Kalel Demetrio, also known as "Mad Scientist", is the man behind Liquido Maestro well known for his creativity approach for Agimat, and Bench Café where he created an innovative drinks menu.
His passion for mixology has led him to be named one of Spot.ph Best Mixologists in 2014. He has also participated in various prestigious culinary events like the Noma Pop-up and Madrid Fusion.

A wide range of delectable dishes will be available in the cafe such as big belly burger and inspired chilidogs.
Exclusive licensed collectibles and DC merchandise, which are all available for sale, including special edition toys, apparel, accessories, mugs, gadgets, and DC Comics will be displayed throughout the store.
They will also carry Ekonic DC certified items like keyboards, headphones, speakers, powerbanks, mouse, mousepads, and merchandise!
In the celebration of Superman’s 80th Anniversary, DC Super Heroes Café confirmed that they will be treating fans to an array of in-store activities including appearances by famous local DC artists, exclusive prints, raffle prizes and more.
DC Superheroes Cafe will be located at 4th floor, Mega Fashion Hall of the SM Megamall, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
