There are rumors that aside from the much awaited Huawei P9, there are rumors that the mobile giant is planning two release a "Lite" and "Max" variant of that device. Moments ago, the Evan Blass of Venture Beat revealed images and partial specs of the Huawei Venus, the possible P9 Lite.

Coming from the P8 Lite of last year, the Huawei P9 Lite will definitely be a major upgrade. It will come with a 5.2 inch FHD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 3 GB of RAM and will now have a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Against the upcoming standard edition of the P9, the Lite device won't have a full metal body and the dual camera sensor made by Leica. Aside from that, it should also come with a lesser than HiSilicon Kirin 950 Chip.
The rest of the specs remains to be a mystery for now. Let's all stay tuned for Huawei's official announcement this April 4 and 5.
Given those specs, if Huawei decided to price this with the same SRP of the P8 Lite under 10K Pesos, it could be a great hit.
