August 28! Mark your calendars!
On its official website, Redmi revealed that it will launch the Note 8 and Note 8 Pro on August 28. In addition, the company also announced that it will also launch its first 70-inch TV on that day.
Its teaser poster also showed that it will come with a quad-camera setup. The highlight of its cameras is the Samsung 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1. To recall, it is a 1/7-inch 0.8μm sensor with 9248 x 6936 resolution. It also has the 1.6μm 4-in-1 pixel technology for improved low light shots.
The other camera sensors are still unknown for now. By the way, August 28 is earlier than the Q4 2019 target of Xiaomi to launch a 64MP powered phone.
