In Vietnam, OPPO has started teasing a new phone dubbed as the A9 2020 with Reno-like back design, waterdrop notch screen, and a rear quad-camera setup.

OPPO A9 2020 is coming in 2019!
It suggests that the A9 2020 is coming. We also received an anonymous email containing the key specs of the phone.

For the display, the handset will feature a large 6.5-inch waterdrop 2.0 screen. Maybe it is an improved version of the company's waterdrop notch.
Inside, it will be powered by 2.0GHz Snapdragon 665 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The battery capacity is massive at 5,000mAh as well.
At the back, it comes with a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP cameras. For selfies, you will find a 16MP snapper.
Based on the image that OPPO Vietnam showed, the phone has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
There's a separate leak stating that it will come with Android Pie OS based on ColorOS 6.1 skin.
It added that the phone measures at 163.6 x 75.6 x 9.1 mm and weighs 195 grams. It will be available in marine green and space purple colorways.
Our tipster also noted that OPPO might pit it against the newly launched Vivo S1 in the Philippines.
