It is the 2019 mid-ranger of the company that highlights a triple-camera setup at the back and all-screen display with a pop-up cam.
While it is impressive that it has a notchless screen, some quite concerned with the durability of its pop-up camera.
But, HONOR is confident about the durability of its pop-up cam. To check if it is really that tough, we tried to open a bottle of beer using HONOR 9X's pop-up cam!

Our thoughts
We've seen it personally and I can confidently say that the pop-up camera of the HONOR 9X is tough. It survived the challenge!
Yes, there are battle scars (scratches), but the pop-up camera mechanism didn't have any major damage. It is still working perfectly fine after opening a few bottles of beer.
We won't still recommend it as a bottle opener as no one wants scratches on their phones.
But, going back to the point, the pop-up cam of HONOR 9X is designed to last.
