On Weibo, realme revealed the release date of its upcoming 5G-capable smartphone, the realme X50 5G.

Realme X50 5G is coming!
Realme X50 5G will be unveiled on January 7 at an event in Beijing, China. Based on the teaser, the handset will come in two colorways, a metallic and blue green-like edition.
The handset is confirmed to feature Qualcomm's new 7nm Snapdragon 765G SoC, a chipset with built-in 5G. The device is also said to come with a pill-shaped dual selfie-camera ala Galaxy S10+ by Samsung.
It will also sport an improved VOOC 4.0 fast charging solution designed to charge the phone to 70 percent in just 30 minutes.
Realme X50 will also offer a five-dimensional head dissipation system that can offer 100 percent coverage of heating sources.
Rumors said that the phone will highlight a 6.44-inch 90Hz screen, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 4,500mAh battery capacity, wireless charging support, 64MP primary camera, and a 32MPM + 8MP dual-selfie cam with wide-angle mode.
A Youth/Lite edition of the said device is expected to launch that day as well.
