In CES 2020, Samsung announced Ballie, a robot with human-like interactivity that the company says understands you, supports and reacts to your needs!

At Samsung's Keynote at CES, Samsung electronics division CEO H.S. Kim introduced Ballie to the public. It is a small ball-shaped robot that is powered by AI to understand you, support you and react to your needs.

On stage, Ballie followed H.S. Kim across the stage and responded to the CEO with robot-like beeps and chimes. Near the end of the presentation, CEO H.S. Kim called on Ballie and the robot promptly rolled into the CEO's hands. A promotional video then played that you can watch in the embedded tweet below.

In the promotional video, Ballie was seen reacting to its Human's current needs that lead the robot to someday be an at-home assistant. In one instance in the video, the pet dog made a mess and Ballie responded accordingly by activating and ordering the smart vacuum cleaner to clean up the mess.

There was no mention of when Ballie will be available for purchase nor was there a mention of pricing.
